My name is Jillian, and it is a wonderful blessing to meet you. I am so excited to be a tutor here on WyzAnt, and I hope that I am able to help you in your quest for increased knowledge. Since this is my chance to introduce myself to you as a potential tutor, let me do that for you.
I am 23 years old, and currently have my AA degree from Mount San Jacinto College. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA with honors through the college since 2007. I transferred out from Mount San Jacinto in 2011, and attended University of Phoenix from August 2011 through April 2012, and then transferred to Brandman University from August 2012 through April 2013, and will be attending CSU Chico in the upcoming. I still have a 4.0 GPA, and love tutoring very much. I have tutored at MSJC's LRC from August 2008 to the present, and tutor mathematics, political science, communications, music appreciation, and computer science and applications. Tutoring and helping others is my passion; it has revealed to me what I am to do with my life; teach. It is my life's goal that God has revealed to me. I love God so much because He is so amazing and good to me, and shows me what a joy it is to learn and how much fun it can be. I always try and pass this amazing love on to my students.
I will be honest before anyone hires me. I am also a disabled student. I have a rare skin disability called Pemphigus Foliaceous (which is why I look different). It is an autoimmune blistering disease of the skin, and it is life-threatening. There is no cure for my disease, and I have had it my entire life. However, that does not mean I am contagious; I am allowed to be around any individual (even children). I am not a danger to others. I have much to offer everyone, and I am very excited for this new chapter in my life. I hope WyzAnt is part of this new chapter, and I hope I am able to provide my services to anyone who needs them.
My goal, as a tutor, is to help the student become an independent learner in order to become successful in school as well as in life.
