I graduated from UC Berkeley in spring of 2009 with a B.A. in Integrative Biology. My course work included general chemistry, biology, statistics, organic chemistry, and physics as well as physical sciences such as anatomy and physiology. Furthermore, I enrolled in several rhetoric/English courses throughout my 4 years at UC Berkeley. I recently took refresher courses in statistics and biology this past year at Cal Poly Pomona. In high school, I took as many AP courses as possible. I passed all my tests with at least a 3.

I am currently tutoring as a way to make a little extra spending money. Please feel free to email me and set up an appointment. I am also willing to try online tutoring for individuals who are too far away for me to travel. If interested, please email me and we can set up an appointment.

Update 08-20-12: I completed my spring quarter and received an A in both Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. I have moved into an apartment in Mountain View, CA.

Update 3-26-12: Currently starting my 3rd quarter in organic chemistry and 2nd quarter in biochemistry. Last quarter I earned a 4.0

Update 2-1-12: I am currently enrolled in organic chemistry-2nd quarter- and biochemistry-1st quarter- courses at Cal Poly Pomona. I am taking refresher courses to better prepare me for my endeavors in the medical health field.

Algebra 1

I took Algebra in middle school, but the foundations I learned have continually been applied to harder math courses such as algebra II, Pre-Calc, and even Calculus, all of which I have taken and earned high marks.

Algebra 2

I took Algebra 2 during my freshman year in college. I have taken subsequent math courses such as pre-calculus and calculus.

Biology

I have taken Honors Biology and AP Biology in high school, earning As in both classes. I also many courses at UC Berkeley including General Biology, Human and Exercise Physiology, Anatomy, Genetics, and Biochemistry.

Calculus

I took AP Calculus BC in high school and earned a 4 on the AP test with a 4 for my AB sub score. I also took a year of college calculus at UC Berkeley.

Chemistry

Earned an A in each of my quarters of General Chemistry at Cal Poly Pomona. Will be taking Organic Chemistry this fall. Took a 10 week course this summer in both subjects.

Physics

I took AP Physics in high school as well as physics courses during college. I recently took a refresher course in order to better prepare for the MCAT.

Anatomy

I took a semester of Anatomy lecture at UC Berkeley and then a lab course at Cal Poly Pomona. I earned an A in both courses.

Basketball

I was a 3 year varsity player in high school from 2001-2005. I still play basketball and have played since I was 8 years old. I've played NJB youth league, AAU, and others in the Los Angeles area.

ISEE

I have been tutoring students for 5 months in ISEE test prep. I am knowledgable about Lower, Middle, and Upper level testing.

Organic Chemistry

I took a year of organic chemistry for science majors at UC Berkeley. I am taking another year of organic chemistry to enrich my knowledge of the subject and am currently enrolled in the 2nd quarter of organic chemistry. I am very comfortable with SN and E reactions and understand topics such as stereoisomers, nomenclature, and thermodynamics involved with reactions.
