I come from a bi-lingual home and speak both English and Spanish. Helping students learn to speak Spanish is a wonderful experience because of the complexity and cultural richness of the language. The sounds are rhythmic and there is no learning long and short vowel sounds like the English language. The vowels always have the same sound!
