Hello, I am Dan Castle, M.A. Special Education, credentialed teacher K-12 and college level. I have life credentials to teach in California for k-12 and community college level.

My parents are Deaf and I have been signing in American Sign Language all of my life. I have taught high school for over 27 years, community college ASL, all levels including interpreting, for over 27 years. I also have taught math, English, science and social studies.

My background assures of quality teaching in whatever subject I teach. I have taught all grade levels at one time or other. I can teach in person or through the webcam, Skype, Facetime, or other means.

I am humorous and easy to get along with. I have been tutoring or helping students learn for over 30 years.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have a k-12 credential to teach for life from the state of California. I have taught for 37 years and I taught elementary subjects in math, reading and English most of those years.

ESL/ESOL

I have taught English as a 2nd language for 30 years. I have a MA in special ed. and have taught English to the Deaf and hard of hearing for over 10 years.

Sign Language

I have an MA in Sp. Ed for DHH from CSUN. I have a community college credential to teach all spec. ed and ASL for life. I have a k-12 credential for life. I taught ASL at RCC for 22 years.

Hard Of Hearing

I have a lifetime teaching credential in Calif. to teach the deaf and hard of hearing in all subjects. I have an M.A. in spec. ed. from CSUN. I have taught the deaf and hard of hearing for 35 years.

Macintosh

I have been a Macintosh user since 1984 when they were invented. I have helped people with their Macs all of that time. I am the president of the local Macintosh user group in Riverside and I am editor of the newsletter for that group (since 1986). I taught computers to high school students applications and programming for 22 years.
