Sharon was the salutatorian of her high school and has been helping students achieve their academic goals for over ten years. While maintaining a 3.8 GPA at UC Berkeley, Sharon worked as a research associate in the nutritional genomics department and taught standardized test prep to local high school students. She was voted "Favorite Teacher" two semesters in a row. Combining her passion in science, teaching and research, Sharon went on to obtain a master's in Genetic Counseling at Cal State Northridge and a second master's in Public Health at UCLA. During her spare time, Sharon hikes with her dog, Pooch, all over Los Angeles County. She is also constantly in search of the perfect chocolate cake recipe.
