Hi! My name is Matt and I know what it's like to struggle with a subject (believe me, I know!) and I know how sometimes it can be hard to ask for help, but looking around is the first step! At my most recent tutoring position I met a young man who was failing grade school math; but, together we worked hard and he rose his grade enough to pass and move on to the next course. Biology

My favorite biology courses in university (I just graduated!) were in Infectious Diseases and Photomedicine (a really neat course about lasers!). I also participated in a comparative animal physiology laboratory the last two years of undergraduate. I believe a good foundation in Biology requires diligent reading and note-taking; all of which I can help you out with!

Anthropology

I am a recent graduate from UC Irvine with a Bachelor's in Anthropology. I have taken several Sociocultural Anthropology courses as well as a Linguistic Anthropology courses. The geographical regions that I studied the most were modern Middle East/Central Asia (Post-Soviet Eurasia) and Ancient Mesoamerica (Aztec, Maya, Colonial Latin America, etc).
