Hi, my name is Peter.

I'm a substitute teacher active in several districts in the area, with extensive experience in math and science, and a bit of history and English as well. I went to UC Davis where I received a degree in geophysics with a minor in hydrology, and I'm completing my teaching credential program soon.

I have a teaching credential and I have years of experience with tutoring. I know how to teach students the essentials of note-taking, time management, pre-reading a text to get the most out of it, how to prepare for tests, and how to maximize test scores when being tested in various subjects.

As a teacher I know how to present information to students and I can show them how to correctly interpret and process the information they get for maximum effect.

Trombone

I have been playing trombone since I was eight. I played in statewide concert bands, university level groups, and I have traveled internationally to play trombone. I am qualified to teach beginning and intermediate technique, and can answer further questions about my ability as needed.

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
