Education: I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics (Complex Analysis) at the University Sains Malaysia (USM). I received my MS in Pure Mathematics from Tarbiat Modarres University (Iran) in 2005, and I graduated BS in Pure Mathematics from Mazandaran University (Iran) in 2002.
Experience: I recently served as a staff tutor with the Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. At the college, I am responsible for tutoring undergraduate students in Algebra, Calculus, Pre-Calculus preparation. Also, I have taught at the Department of Mathematics of Islamic Azad University as a math lecturer from 2005 to 2009. The courses which I have been taught can be listed as: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-calculus, calculus I and II, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. I got high level of evaluations both from students and faculty based on five elements preparation, enthusiasm, expectations, accessibility and respect. As a graduate student at USM, I taught general Math, Calculus, and Linear Algebra to undergraduate Mathematics students from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, I tutored high school and university students in Calculus, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and General Mathematics.
Miscellaneous: In addition to my studies in Mathematics, I was passionately involved with graduate and undergraduate student advocacy at the state and national levels. In 2001, I was one of an organization in the Mathematics International Conference representing over 200,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students and faculty as well. I also enjoyed coordinating social events for the graduate student body at USM. During my study in USM, I have published five research works in established journals in the last three years.
As the last born of four children, I have developed a unique capability to connect with almost anyone. I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends.
