Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty.” - Bertrand Russell

My ultimate objective is to empower students to be more confident, organized, and enthusiastic about learning. This requires a comprehensive and intense approach of teaching and training. Are you up to the challenge?

About me:
Welcome to my tutoring page! I am studying mechanical engineering at the University of California, Merced. I am preparing to research and design the technology of tomorrow! Through education, I have overcome many challenges and I have helped others reach challenging goals. Outside of school, I like to play chess, work on cars, and read.

Experience:
I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach math for years. I have served as a volunteer, a tutor for college students, and I have worked for learning centers and other tutoring businesses. Although I do have years of experience, the thing I want you to know is that I have constantly reflected and reviewed to better share my enthusiasm and expertise through tutoring.

----------------------------------------------------

Overview of Services:

1) Tutor-Tutee agreement/Goal Setting:
in our first meeting we make a basic agreement about our responsibilities as tutor and tutee. The agreement is not legally binding in anyway, it is simply a standard to hold ourselves to. This is a great way to outline goals and also set up a framework to work together at an optimum.

2) Weekly Assignments: Each lesson will come with extra practice problems to lead into the next meeting.

3) Up to two Questions a week at no additional charge:

Feel free to email me questions. I enjoy sharpening my math skills so I set aside time to tackle questions from my students. (Just please make sure to give me a few days to work on it.)

4) Lesson Reviews:
I respond with lesson reviews that list the proceedings of the learning session, key concepts discussed, and suggestions for further study.

5) Learning Process Training:

If you are a college student, a kindergartner, or anything in between, I will help you stay committed to organizing and processing the notes from our lessons and from your own studies. I will give you recommendations for organization systems that have worked wonders in my life.
