I am a recent law school graduate with extensive tutoring and education field experience. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in liberal studies, with minors in both English and elementary education. I am a CA preliminary teaching credential candidate. Currently, I work for the Lawndale Elementary School District as an after-school program teacher/activity specialist for their reputable, Realizing Amazing Potential program.

I have over 10 years of tutoring experience here in the South Bay (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Hermosa Beach) and Los Angeles areas. I have tutored students and toddlers from ages 4-25 on the subjects of English composition, reading, phonics, elementary mathematics, reading comprehension, mathematics (geometry, algebra, algebra II), and science. I am fluent in Spanish and have tutored Chinese students in English language acquisition and TOEFL/ESL courses. My students have consistently improved their scores, grades, and study habits. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with a diverse population of students, including those with special learning needs and English Second Language learners. I am patient and rely heavily on the use of electronics in my tutoring and seek to make the tutoring experience a worthwhile and enjoyable one for the student. I have current Livescan FBI/DOJ background checks completed, and a current TB test. I truly believe that my education and experience make me a great candidate to tutor your children.
