Hello! I am a tutor who is passionate about helping students improve their reading and writing skills, as well challenging them to improve their grades and test scores. I have extensive experience as an English and Test Prep tutor for two different companies. I also have professional experience in television production as a production assistant, writer’s intern, and producer’s assistant on such HBO hit series as Deadwood, John From Cincinnati, and True Blood.

My experience at the two tutoring companies helped me foster a teaching style based on transforming a student's attitude toward their work from seeing it as negative busywork to viewing it a positive experience based on clear and even exciting progress that helps them get a leg up on their peers! I've found that a good sense of humor and positive feedback goes a long way to building confidence and passion in a student as well as raising his or her grades and test scores.

I have excellent organizational skills, communicate clearly and effectively, and am able to tackle new challenges at they arise.
