I am an experienced teacher who has worked in many educational settings. I enjoy working one-on-one with children, so I can tailor a program to meet their specific needs. Homework support, skills remediation, and educational therapy are some of the services I provide. I have been extensively trained in using Lindamood-Bell programs (LiPS, Seeing Stars) for reading skills such as sound-symbol correspondence, phonemic awareness, decoding, and spelling skills, as well as visualizing and verbalizing for reading comprehension. Other programs used include: Bernard Fluency, making connections, Winston Grammar, and Step Up to Writing as well as various math executive functioning strategies. I am easy-going and flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to help your elementary or middle school child succeed!
