I am a PhD student in Anthropology at UC Berkeley. I worked extensively as a private tutor while in college at New York University, where I majored in Mathematics and Philosophy. I am an expert tutor in math, from elementary school up to AP calculus. I am also fluent in French and have tutored middle-school and high-school students in it. Finally, much of what I do as a grad student now is write and I am always happy to help student learn how to write clear and convincing A+ essays.

I always tailor my tutoring approach to the needs of my students, challenging them while also ensuring that they enjoy learning. I strive to create a friendly, enthusiastic and motivating environment for the students I mentor, in which they feel free to ask questions, learn from mistakes and make progress. I believe that students learn best when they are both challenged and given ample support for completing their assignments.
