I have sold essays and fiction pieces to a series of reputable literary journals and magazines, I am an award-winning writer of nonfiction, fiction, and screenwriting at Emory University, which was ranked by USA Today as the number one school for writing
in the country. I was selected by Emory to take a master's writing class with Salman Rushdie. I am currently a rising junior at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, pursuing a Psychology
/Creative Writing Major.

At Emory, I am the recipient of the Artistine Mann Award for best fiction written by an Emory undergraduate, the Grace Abernathy Scholarship in Creative Writing for "a writer who captures all the hilarious sorrows and real heartbreak of adolescent life in stories that are moving, funny, and smart." I am also the recipient of the Kiki Mccabe Prize in Screenwriting for best screenplay written by an Emory undergraduate. I was selected by Emory University to take a master writing class with Salman Rushdie in the fall of 2012, as well as judge Anderson Livsley's creative writing contest in the fall of 2012. I am set to tutor their elementary school students in creative writing in the fall.
This summer, I will also be working as a script reader for the production company, OddLot Entertainment.
