I have sold essays and fiction pieces to a series of reputable literary journals and magazines, I am an award-winning writer of nonfiction, fiction, and screenwriting at Emory University, which was ranked by USA Today as the number one school for writing in the country. I was selected by Emory to take a master's writing class with Salman Rushdie. I am currently a rising junior at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, pursuing a Psychology and English/Creative Writing Major.

My specialty is creative writing. My essays have appeared or are forthcoming in The Los Angeles Review, Paper Darts, Nashville ReView, Prick of the Spindle, Monkeybicycle, decomP magazinE, the Eunoia Review, and elsewhere. A link to all work published online will be available below.

At Emory, I am the recipient of the Artistine Mann Award for best fiction written by an Emory undergraduate, the Grace Abernathy Scholarship in Creative Writing for "a writer who captures all the hilarious sorrows and real heartbreak of adolescent life in stories that are moving, funny, and smart." I am also the recipient of the Kiki Mccabe Prize in Screenwriting for best screenplay written by an Emory undergraduate. I was selected by Emory University to take a master writing class with Salman Rushdie in the fall of 2012, as well as judge Anderson Livsley's creative writing contest in the fall of 2012. I am set to tutor their elementary school students in creative writing in the fall.

This summer, I will also be working as a script reader for the production company, OddLot Entertainment.

I am currently a rising junior at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. I was the assistant second grade teacher to the class of Temple Sholom in Chicago. I helped the fourth and fifth graders with their homework at Latin School of Chicago during an after-school program. I am set to teach creative writing to K-5th graders at Anderson Livesly Elementary school in Atlanta, GA in the fall of 2013.

I took improvisation for two years in high school. Since then, I have performed stand-up comedy in Atlanta and Chicago, to audiences of more than 50 people at a time. I have also performed at readings at Emory University for fiction and nonfiction. Excellent Tutor — Tony W. was a great tutor that helped me not only for this paper, but for future growth as well in my writing skills. He helped me realize a lot of simple mistakes in my writing style, that would cloud and confuse my creative ideas. Tony was friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him. ...
