My name is Cami, I'm from Miami and I'm a writer and a history buff!

To create any story all one must do is study the time and place of your subject or character. This is what has brought me to have an incredible attention span in classes like film, music, art, theater, literary, linguistic, cultural, American, world, Latin-American, social, political, religious, scientific, seafaring, and pre-historic history. I also have a perpetual fuel to continue educating myself at all times. That is why I have continued enrolled full-time in double major programs, completing film school and the school of humanities at Loyola Marymount University, and immediately continued on with my masters in underwater archaeology.

I am now saving up to turn all this knowledge into a field work experience to complete my masters, and nothing would make me happier than if I could do this while surviving solely off my writing and educating skills and passion. I would love to talk to you on the phone if you have any doubts. I am very theatrical and great with kids. I have taught kids every summer for almost ten years and I have great success with reaching out and get kids of all ages to understand and remember a fact that otherwise just won't stick.

I'd also love to help you write your papers on these subjects!

Can't wait to hear from you!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Voice (Music)

I have been training my voice for 20 years. At age four, I began taking lessons in music theory and vocal exercises. Having recently come from Cuba, I have a natural rhythm and a musical ear. The first song I recorded on tape was Mariah Carey's "I Still Believe," and since then, I have believed that any person of any age can be trained to transform their voice into any sound they desire. I never put limits on people or manipulate them into singing how I prefer. After spending many years doing musical theater, I learned from a vocal doctor how to help people find their range and natural, healthy speaking voice. From here, you can expand your comfort level with safe training exercises that focus on breathing from the diaphragm and exhaling evenly. It makes me very happy to help people overcome their vocal troubles and find their most natural voice.
