Elementary Students, in K-6, are among my favorites to tutor. Twenty years of teaching and tutoring this age group (I started young!)plus a Specialized Master's Degree in Education make me confident I can enrich your child with learning, laughter, and loving encouragement. Helping my own child as he struggles with a special learning approach also enables me to support parents concurrently. I hope to be able to bring your child to new heights and delights in learning!

Effective communcation is a key to our success. As an ESL/ESOL tutor, I tailor programs to student's specific needs. Students may focus on everyday spoken English, Reading, Writing, Academic English, Test Preparation, or a combination of areas. Years of language instruction, understanding of linguistics and phonetics, and familiarity with multiple languages and cultures add the the success I've shared with ESL/ESOL students. Hebrew

The language of the Bible and the Land of Israel is rich and beautiful. As a student and teacher of Hebrew, it is my joy to open new doors to students, travelers, and sometimes seekers of ancient Biblical Wisdom in their learning. I've been involved in public speaking since my teen-age years and involved in teaching and coaching public speaking for 20 years. Course work in Education, Motivation, Psychology ,Business and Hermeneutics, combined with over twenty years of writing and delivering talks, speeches, and classes taken together help ensure success for my students of Public Speaking. How do we know if our studies are beneficial and will lead to success? In some sense, we may not have hard evidence of our success until we receive our test scores- affirming that all of our hard work paid off in our test results. However, if we finish each study session with just one more insight, just one more skill, just one glimmer of greater accomplishment and mastery, we can be sure we... read more

It is GRE-at when GRE students can increase their abilities in a snap! Snap up a learning concept or two, a few reading tricks, a hand-full of pre-fixes and suffexes and... BOOM! Abilities in the Verbal section suddenly go through the roof! GRE-at fun :-)

It was fantastic to work with Laila! As we began, she had knowledge and ability, but not all the confidence, study skills, and test-taking skills she needed to shine. By the time of her exam, however, she got the highest mark available, and was able to skip ahead a full class level in her language studies! Laila, it's time to celebrate!
