After having worked 30 years as an engineer for major aerospace firms, I have recently decided to retired. I can now pursue the things I like to do. One of things I like to do is to tutor.

I love working with people, especially when they see significant improvement because of my help. I have been successfully tutoring the last six years and have many people along the way.

y^3 z^6/y^5 z^6 (answer)

(y^3 z^6)/(y^5 z^6) since there are more y's in the denominator, we move the y's from the numerator to the denominator: (z^6)/(y^5 y^(-3)z^6) (z^6)/(y^(5-3)z^6) (z^6)/(y^2z^6) the z's all cancel leaving: 1/y^2

Starting with: 0.106508=(1+(r/4))^4-1 add 1 to both sides: 1.106508=(1+(r/4))^4 take the fourth root of both sides: 1.106508^(1/4) = 1+(r/4) 1.025625 = 1+r/4 0.025625 = r/4 0.1025 = r or 10.25% = r
