What started as a whim 30 years ago in Africa - starting a small school as a Peace Corps volunteer - grew into a life long, part-time passion: working with people to figure out why they are struggling to grasp a subject or an assignment and helping them to excel.

My strengths are English, business and computer skills and working with special needs individuals. I am a published author and working editor. I love writing, reading, editing and comprehension. I am a working business professional specializing in accounting and administration. I am a skilled respite care provider working with families who have disabled members. I am continuing to develop my sign language skills and work regularly with a deaf client.

I can tutor in any subject at the elementary level and was managing directed of an inclusive day care and pre-school for a decade during which I regularly tutored kids with their school work.
