I am from France, and I recently moved to Los Angeles for good. I have lived in different countries, and that is how I started giving French lessons. There is nothing better than learning from a native, because you will learn the correct French and the correct accent too. I think it’s better to meet first to be aware of the level of the student and then find the correct method.
I give lessons from beginner to advanced level, I also give conversational-only lessons. For beginners, we usually start with the basics (alphabet, sounds, etc.), and then go to basic conversations to be able to speak in a restaurant etc.
I can also follow the program if the student is enrolled in school. As long as I get the material 24 hours in advance it is not a problem. For advanced level, we are going to focus on details, and it’s going to be mainly conversational to get used to speaking and get more comfortable with the language.
I currently teach at a high school and at Alliance Française French 1, French 2, French 3, French AP, French conversational and French grammar.
I am dynamic and it is always a reward to hear the student speak perfect French and being able to have a real conversation with them. If you are interested or want more details let me know!
