I hold degrees from Wellesley College in English (B.A.), Harvard University (M.P.A.), and USC (M.S. in gerontology). I love to teach, especially young adults and non-traditional students, and have extensive teaching experience.
I have taught adult immigrants ESL, U.S. history, U.S. government, and consumer economics and also taught at USC, both at the Language Academy (public policy research skills and business writing) and the School of Gerontology (psychological, political, and social impacts of aging on women).
I also have a writing consultant business, where I work with academics and professionals writing manuscripts for publication.
I love helping students learn and love learning from them! And I also enjoy reading, writing, and swimming!
