Algebra 1

I have taught Algebra 1 at the remedial, and honors, level for the past twelve years in magnet schools within LAUSD. I introduced an artificial intelligence software-based interactive tutorial to the district and also incorporated a series of diagnostic tests from UCLA to assess each student's level of mastery (and to target their next efforts, and measure their results). Elementary (K-6th)

I am a National Board Certified Teacher, 2010. During my eleven years as a public school techer, I have taught students and tutees in primary schools (as well as my own grandchildren ages 2 through 6!). My recent Master of Arts in Teaching (2010) provides evidence of my background in pedagogy for a wide variety of student ages, abilities, and disabilities.
