I love learning and my enthusiasm for knowledge is emitted to all of my students. I believe education should be fun and applicable to real life. I make students understand the purpose of why they need to learn certain subjects and engage them in the design of the lessons. I make learning so much fun that my students look forward to their sessions. I believe that when we enjoy what we're doing, the experience stays with us.
I believe that a good student is a confident student. I employ a lot of encouragement and self-esteem building techniques in my sessions. Achievement feels good, and when I make students feel good about themselves they want to achieve more.
I have a PhD in Psychology, and this makes me more sensitive towards each individual's needs. This along with years of teaching and tutoring of all sorts of students (ADD, ADHD, Asperger's, DD, Dyslecxic, Gifted, etc), as well as all ages, all levels, and a diversity of backgrounds, makes me an excellent choice to work with everyone who needs some extra help!
