My name is Matt, and I recently graduated from UCLA with a master of science in civil engineering. My undergraduate study was also at UCLA, and I received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, minoring in mathematics. I have been doing private in-home tutoring in all areas of mathematics and physics for the past six years. I possess excellent knowledge of providing customized tutoring services to students. My ability to work with students and parents in order to find out their weakest points and the aspiration to work towards providing strengthening services has been commended many times. Moreover, I possess a positive attitude and a passion to assist struggling learners. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially. As a highly motivated and experienced tutor with a strong background in providing professional tutoring services to students with diverse backgrounds, I have the ability to exceed your expectations. I am confident that my strong desire to help students achieve their goals will go a long way in providing quality services. During the past several years of my tutoring profession, I have developed effective techniques to aid students understand difficult concepts. All my students have expressed an increase in their confidence and understanding of the subjects immediately after our first session. I would guarantee the same result for you right after our first lesson. I just got admitted to the PhD program and that has left me a lot of free time. Therefore, I have decided to take on more students. My regular hourly rate that I charge most of my students is $60/hour, but I have decided to offer a special rate to attract more students. If you book a session with me at this rate, you will be benefiting from this special rate throughout the rest of our future sessions.
