I am a young and enthusiastic undergraduate student with a love for teaching and tutoring kids who are in need. I have a lot of experience with tutoring as I am involved with a program called Joint Educational Project, through which I have worked with public school students of downtown Los Angeles. I also tutored students from my High School in New York during my junior and senior years.
Currently, I am a second semester sophomore at the University of Southern California. My major is Global Health and my minor is Psychology, and I have hopes to apply to medical school and become a doctor in the future.
I am most experienced in teaching Math (pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and general Math), Science (Chemistry, Biology, and general sciences) and Language Arts (particularly grammar). My methods of teaching vary according to the subject and the learning style of the student, but I think it is very important to acknowledge the students' strengths and weaknesses and seek to understand their difficulties in a patient and interactive manner.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you out!
