Hi Everyone,

My name is Leo and I love tutoring and teaching!

I graduated from the Cooper Union with a BFA in 1997 and I did my Master's equivalent at de Ateliers in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since then I've been a practicing artist. Parallel to my creative practice in 2004 I started teaching English to non-native speakers as well as give private lessons in painting and drawing. Teaching has proved a great supplement to my artistic activities. I find it most rewarding to interact with students and be able to share with them my knowledge and experience.

I am very flexible and I've worked with people from all over the globe. I speak several languages and with each student I try to find the best possible approach for him or her to learn, instead of imposing my own set methods.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
