Hello, I love math and transfer that to my students. My present position teaches it all. Patience and attention to detail, by determining what concept(s) the student needs to learn and review, is my approach to helping them get through their hurdles in the quickest way. My belief is to help them understand math and how it relates to the world. It’s not just numbers; this helps them to remember and get interested in it. It’s important to remove the fear of math to help them understand that they can do it.
I have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, with four years' experience in research and development. Presently, I have an Adult Ed credential to teach math. My classroom experience is with K-12 students to adults. They are K-12 students who need high school credits for Algebra and Geometry or need to pass the CASHEE, and adults who want to get their GED. My successes include 9th grade students on the fast track to increase their math knowledge, students passing the GED, students receiving credit for Geometry and Algebra to obtain their high school diploma, and students passing the CASHEE. I love math and love teaching math.
