I am a sophomore in college with flexible hours. I am experienced with students of all ages and have in worked with children with learning disabilities. I am fluent in Spanish. I served as summer camp counselor in 2009, 2010, 2012 for Camp Echo Bridge in Newton, Massachusetts, a city-sponsored camp that is designed to meet the summer recreational and educational needs of children and young adults with cognitive disabilities. I also worked at Safe Passage during 2010-2011 school year in Guatemala City, Guatemala between high school and college. Safe Passage/Camino Seguro is a program whose mission is to empower the poorest at-risk children, whose families live in the Guatemala City garbage dump. There I served as a tutor and homeroom teacher to two classes of 40 students. All activities were performed in Spanish. I have tutored several students in their homes. I have many study and organizational strategies to share as well. My college also has an excellent library should that be a better environment. I also have a variety of references.
