I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology in 2009, from a University who has ranked in the top five for its biological sciences program. In the undergraduate courses I have taken, I have done exceptionally well in calculus, statistics, microbiology, general biology, genetics, anatomy and cell biology; and can ensure effective assistance in these branches of biology. Currently I am a field sales account executive within the healthcare industry and have had ample practice to hone my skills in professionally and articulately communicating to people of all levels, which will allow me to provide clear, specific responses and explanations for the topics that most trouble you (within the courses I mentioned up above). I have always been one of the top students in all of my junior-high and high-school math classes, and was involved in a math team in high school, and ranked in the top five for matrices at a national math competition; therefore am very comfortable with tutoring for all levels of math below the college graduate level.
I have tutored Korean-speaking ESL students during my high school and undergraduate years, ranging in the ages of 10-33. For my younger students I tutored them in grammar and math, as well as their other homework that they asked me to help them with. With my 33 year old (international) student, I helped improve her business conversational skills by creating situational exercises, having her listen to audio/video clips and asking her relevant questions, et cetera.
I have edited many personal statements for application submissions and have created business proposals and PowerPoint presentations, thus am comfortable in providing such service as well. I have translated, transcribed and created contract agreements, PowerPoint presentations, patient admission and consent forms, and post-radiological exam instructions in the KOREAN language; and am extremely comfortable in any translation and linguist-related projects as well.
