High-achieving students need tutors to keep them engaged and focused on school, but other students certainly need tutoring help, too. Children who are falling behind in school due to learning differences, health problems, or other challenges benefit from the support of a one-on-one learning coach.
I graduated from Duke University in 1987, and the USC/MBA program in 1991. Currently working as a resource specialist (RSP) in Los Angeles, credentialed in both elementary general education (kinder-5th grades) and mild/moderate disabilities. I consider a student's learning style and implement that style into my lessons. I have an open schedule and am available most evenings and weekends.
