In my career path I have done everything from 3D modeling to graphic design to cinematography to 3D/2D animation.
I started an independent game company called Buttercup Game Labs in Northern CA. My business partner and I met while working at Telltale Games. We completed our prototype a few months ago and now have the up hill battle of finding angel investors.
Our first title is called 'Phantom Escape,' which is a puzzle/adventure game for iPhones. I was the lead designer/concept artist/art director/modeler/texture artist/lighter/animator. I managed a five person art team on this project.
I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects and Maya. My drawing and mechanical skills are strong. I understand the entire production pipeline from concept to final build. In the past four years I have worked on eleven shipped video game titles.
From 2007-2009 I was a teaching assistant at Expression College in Emeryville, California. I taught the lab portion of the technical classes and assisted teaching the fine art classes. I learned the importance of patience when teaching beginning artists new mediums.
