Konnichiwa! or Nice to meet you!
Hello everyone. My name is Tatsuya. (a lot of people call me Tat or Tats as they can't say my name properly!)
First of all, I'm going to introduce a little bit about myself. (You can skip this part if not necessary.) I grew up in Osaka, Japan which is located in the west side of Japan. Osaka is known as the biggest city in the west Japan where as Tokyo is the biggest on the East. It also has the friendliest people with such a GREAT sense of humor. Educationally speaking, I grew up in an international environment where I picked up both Japanese and English, in other words I spent my 4 years of high school in an international school where its main language in school is English. Growing up internationally, I've gained a great deal of experiences being immersed in multiracial cultures and languages. (just like here in LA) It also has allowed me a great amount of ways to look at things from wider, more different perspectives.
I DO know how hard it is, how physically demanding it is to learn a new language. Trust me. I've gone through so much of it and still am. But I also do know how AMAZING it is to be able to speak Japanese!
Japanese is such a beautiful, delicate, unique, but sometimes powerful language that no other languages can get on top of! I have helped many international students with learning Japanese on different levels as a tutor, so I'm confident to say no matter which level you're at and no matter what your purpose or goal is, I can offer you so many opportunities that you wouldn't receive from anyone else.
If you want to start with saying Konnichiwa (Hello), that's great!
If you already know some words or phrases, great! You can work your way from there with me.
If you only know just a few sushi names, that's OK! At least you know some!
If you're confident with your speaking, awesome! Why don't you take it to the next level and become more advanced?
I've dealt with many foreigners trying to learn Japanese and seen how successful/unsuccessful they can be, I don't want you to pick up my language through wrong ways. I want you to learn it just like we do in Japan, and properly apply it to your needs.
Ask me any questions regarding not only Japanese language, but also Japan and the Japanese culture and etc! Languages are 100 times more fun learning through people, cultures and entertainment. You can learn Japanese and also become knowledgeable of Japanese cultures. That way you can also learn it way faster and deeper.
-FOR PARENTS-
I currently help three kids (varying from 1 year old to 3 year olds) learning Japanese, so if you're considering having your kids learn Japanese, now is the time. The younger the BETTER and more SUCCESSFUL. Please confer with me.
If you have any questions, PLEASE feel free to ask me anything you're concerned about.
My schedule is pretty flexible so I'll be able to meet your schedule and needs.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping you with whatever you need help with!
Sayonara! Or See you soon!
