In 1986 I started my own magazine called Architectural Business Magazine which at that time was the very first desktop published periodical in the US. I became very proficient in the use of all computer and graphic systems which I still use to this day. In addition to a vast amount of experience with all of these elements, I have extensive training in the fields of engineering (Civil /structural), site design, building design and permitting including conditional use permits, etc. I have personally built over 500 buildings in the US and around the world.

In addition to that I have toured the world as the lead singer and guitar player for Velvet Moon, Sawyer & Medina, Michal Blair, and others. I have a complete understanding of instrumental voice and guitar. I also use additional turnings as taught by Keith Richards. I have extensive personal recording and electrical sound engineering working experience.

I have skippered my own 54' Beneteau sailing yacht around the world.

I am easy to communicate with, am extremely patient and relish the opportunity to impart some of the knowledge I have gained in my years as a licensed architect, member of the Grammy's and publisher of my own magazine. I do not charge for travel time, only time spent with you one on one.

Adobe Photoshop

I use Photoshop daily as a part of the graphics requirements of my business. I routinely do custom web exports, sizing, cropping, layers, airbrush touch-ups, architectural photography, image adjusting, color correction, density, filters, effects, and exporting just to name a few things that can be done with this amazing tool of the trade.

Guitar

I am the lead guitarist of Sawyer & Medina. I have been called the greatest living guitar player by the BBC, but don't believe it. Not even close. My style is very blues oriented but I studied with classical composer John Williams learning Bach, etc. I can teach how to read tabs and sheet music, as well as write both for concert setting or recording studio.

Video Production

I have produced the HD video for music clients such as Peter Thompkin's Meet Joe Banks music video. I own all of the HD video recording equipment including a Mac based post production studio which is state of the art. I also can do title animations and live type as well as overdubbing sound and effects.

Photography

I am the primary journalist photographer for Architectural Business Magazine. I also worked full time as a fashion photographer for AFP American Family Photography in 1997. I have complete understanding of digital and analog camera settings and uses including formatting for the web and sizing.

AutoCAD

I have used AutoCAD continuously since its inception and I still use it to this day. I completely understand complicated issues native to the program including the oft misunderstood model space / paper space continua. I can integrate very well with all of the associated LISP sub routines including blocks, xref, raster and digital image settings.

Desktop Publishing

As publisher and Editor in Chief of architectural Business Magazine beginning in 1986 I began looking for an alternative to prepress production. I found the early Mac based vector and raster image formats to be pretty much the only solution available at the time. I have actively run Macintosh computers for business, and apps on all of the ios devices including iPhone 4S, and the iPAD 3. I have begun training on the C++ and Objective C programming required to build apps as well.

As a paid Marketing Director of Boisseau Design Group Architects, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, The American Institute of architects, and many others I've learned what standard techniques are used in marketing service oriented businesses.
