My name is Tel and I have been an accountant for 22 years. I have also been a business manager and healthcare administrator for 12 years. I graduated with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and business administration in 1990 at California State University,Dominguez-Hills and graduated with a master's in healthcare management and business and administration in 2000.
Hence my specialties are accounting, finance, business management, healthcare administration and related fields. I can teach math (algebra, geometry and trigonometry). I can teach English and math for TOEFL, SAT, GMAT testing programs. Other subjects I hope to teach include economics and office computer software. I have schedule flexibility and available to start immediately.
My strategy will be to go into enough detail on each subject as necessary without overloading my pupils with too much information and whet the students' appetite, in a manner that encourages them to search for more information and also do their homework. This will be accomplished by explaining the underlying theory of each subject matter in order to impart the fundamentals of each subject in a way that enables students to utilize their analytical and critical-thinking skills. My experience has been that students with heightened mental skills tend to retain more information and knowledge. Additionally, this process tends to reduce mind sets, mental blocks or any other psychological road-blocks that usually impede lots of students. Also, an "I can do, you can do" tutoring style boosts students' morale and self-confidence. My tutoring philosophy is guaranteed to produce the best possible students based on my personal scholastic experience, as well as those of others; hence it will be money well spent for parents and pupils.
. Additional advantage of my critical thinking-skill development is that my pupils will have less of a need for memorization of subject matter.
