Adobe Photoshop
From beginner to advanced, I can fulfill your educational requirement. My experience encompasses fifteen years of working with the software in a professional setting. From basic color adjustments of photographs for magazines and printing, eliminating scratches from old photos, creating high quality graphics for the web, brochures, logos, etc... to masking and combining various images to form one image. My specialty is to think outside the box. I often use the software in non-traditional ways to create personal Digital Art portraits and other artworks.
Drawing
My passion for Art started as a 3 year old boy and continued to grow throughout my life. Formal education began in Junior High School. Continuing into Junior College where I had the great fortune to be mentored by some very talented artists. Encouraged to take my talent and love for drawing to a higher level, I applied and was accepted to the San Francisco Art Institute, where I completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts program with Honors. After graduation, I pursued my vision resulting in having my work exhibited in various galleries in the South of Market and Haight-Ashbury areas of San Francisco. Also, I have worked professionally as a storyboard artist on seven movies.
I was educated in technical drawing while studying Architectural Design, for a year and a half, and am thoroughly versed in one-point, two-point and three point perspective. I have an innate passion to share what I have learned, experienced and am confident that I can take anyone from basic principles to aesthetic theories about finding a voice. Plus, the steps needed to fulfill your own vision.
Film
I've been a practicing visual artist, for nearly forty years now. From "Old School" film cameras to the "New Technology" digital cameras, and their software, I have a complete knowledge. An innate passion to share what I know, I am confident that I can take anyone from basic principles to aesthetic theories about finding a voice. Plus, the steps needed to fulfill your own vision.
My professional experiences include working for Francis Ford Coppola and his Commercial Pictures. Screen credits include Extras Casting, Special Assistant to the Director, Storyboard Artist and Talent. I also have worked for Christopher R. Coppola Productions as producer on "The Neverending Movie Project," graphic artist and as production specialist on various of his projects including 'PAH NATION Festivals,' movies by the everyday person, for the internet. At these PAH Fests, I worked with people of all ages and walks of life who did not have any experience with, or limited exposure to, new technology. My main duty was to assist them on how to the use all the equipment and software they needed to create and complete their own projects.
Macintosh
As a practicing Digital artist, I have been working with Macintosh computers for sixteen years in a personal and professional setting. From basic understanding, setting preferences, customizing the computer to your personal tastes, guided tour of the applications that come with the system software, connecting to and making optimum use of the internet, shortcuts-(hot keys), working with a pen and tablet for drawing-painting, trouble shooting, to understanding all the hardware that is available for your use-(printer, external hard drives, etc...), my knowledge is complete.
I have an innate passion to share my knowledge, patient, excellent communication skills and am especially adept at helping people who are having a problem with understanding the new technology. I am confident that I can make anyone computer literate in an effortless and expeditious amount of time.
Painting
Painting is my first love as an artist. Have been working with the medium since I was a child. My formal education began in High School and continued into Junior College. There I was exposed to, and educated in, all forms of painting. Watercolor, oils, acrylics and mixed media. I was encouraged to pursue my passion for painting, Art, so I applied and was accepted to the San Francisco Art Institute, where I completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts program with Honors. After graduation, I pursued my vision and passion and began to paint on my own. After amassing a large enough body of work, I made slides of my paintings and started showing them around to various galleries in the city. This led to my work being exhibited in galleries in the South of Market and Haight-Ashbury areas of San Francisco. I even sold seven paintings to an art collector from Paris.
I have an innate passion to share what I have learned, experienced and am confident that I can take anyone from basic principles to aesthetic theories about finding a voice. Plus, the steps needed to fulfill your own vision.

Spanish
I was born in La Habana, Cuba and came to this country as a six year old boy. Encouraged to retain my native tongue by my parents, while learning English in the American education system, I am fully fluent in both Spanish and English. Also, I've retained the culture from my native Cuba while adding those of my adopted home. I am a true bi-lingual and bi-cultural person.
