I speak English and Hebrew and have tutored K-12 in many subjects

I am in my 4th year of college at the University of California, Los Angeles and double majoring for B.A.s in Sociology and Jewish Studies. I have spoken Hebrew for most of my life and am now fluent in speaking and grammar/writing as well as Hebrew Bible studies. I work in the general Los Angeles area and am not limited to the 90035 zip code. I generally go to the student's or parent's home to tutor or to a place of their choice. I have tutored students from grades K-12 in Hebrew reading, writing, and speaking; English, basic math to Algebra I and some Geometry for high school math, essay writing/analysis, spelling, vocabulary, study skills and note taking, and other subjects. I have always enjoyed tutoring because I think it is important to be able to achieve anything and to be a part of that in some way is great and I absolutely love working with students of all ages.

Hebrew

I have learned Hebrew from the basics in both Modern Hebrew speech, and writing, as well as Biblical Hebrew, including translating from the age of 4. I have been to Israel and have lived in a Hebrew speaking environment for various periods of time. I have taught Hebrew classes/tutored for the past 4 years and am majoring in Jewish Studies, which requires being fluent in Hebrew language.

Sociology

I am majoring in Sociology at UCLA and have been studying it for the past 3 years. I will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in June 2013. I have studied Sociological Theory, Social Psychology, Sociology of different nationalities, Sociology of Crime, Statistical Analysis for Sociology, and other sub-categories as well. I have taught sociology to other students who were struggling with this subject in college.
