Andrew studied the basic and social sciences, searching for answers to some of life's biggest questions, including the role of nutrition in human health, the basis for human decision-making, and how to win in Monopoly. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C., area, he earned a B.A. in the Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago and graduated from Georgetown University with an M.S. in Physiology and Biophysics. He has taught math and science students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels, including adult students. His tutoring career began in 2010 when he signed on with PrepMatters to offer academic support tutoring and standardized test preparation assistance for high school students in the Washington, D.C., area. As a published co-author, he has developed research projects at the National Institutes of Health and the University of Chicago Department of Economics. He is currently a medical student developing a research project in the field of social neuroscience.
