A true professional writer is available for all aspects of writing, English, composition, grammar, etc. With over thirty years in the Entertainment Industry writing for numerous classic television shows, I have established a very close relationship with the English word! From understanding writing, construction, structure, or just how to untangle the web of words that sometimes clog the mind. I have also created a literacy program in which I work with “at risk” high school students. I work with them so they can create, on their own, a one act play which is then preformed by professional actors at their school. This program has been sanctioned and funded by the Writers Guild of America Foundation. Having worked with over 30 separate schools (many as multiple courses over the years), I have gained not only a respect for the individual mind, but have come to not only realize, but prove, that everyone can succeed given the right inspiration and individual attention. I have also worked with students who lack motivation to fulfill their goals or to work with them to help them discover and define just where they want to take their future.

My “method” is simple. I reject negativity, and find the positive in everything. Students learn quickly how to find the “talking points” that stick to them like tattoos to keep them for advancing. What I have learned is that if you truly make a student believe that they can lasso the moon and paint it purple, they will do it! It’s not a matter of simply giving them a “pep talk”, but to work with them, to truly listen to them, and to find the real core of both their concerns, they blocks, and then find their real individual strengths.

I have thirty years of experience in the entertainment industry as a writer-producer and director of some of the biggest classic TV series. I am a scholar and teacher of classic movies, including the works of Stanley Kubrick. I have extensive "behind the scene" experience, having been a DP (director of photographer), editor and working with some of the top special effects technicians. I can teach both film making and history.
