I've been playing violin for almost 20 years, and have taught at summer camps and given private lessons during that time. I graduated from Manhattan School of Music's Pre-College division, and was admitted into NYU's Steinhardt School, Princeton University, and University of Michigan as a violin performance major, before having a change of heart and attending the University of Southern California. I'm a current member of the American String Teacher's Association, and I'm very open to teaching beginner and intermediate levels of violin, at any age.
My teaching experience was gathered mainly at a string-instrument summer camp, teaching ages 5-13. They came from all methods, from Suzuki to advanced pedagogy. Some had studied under the same teachers that I have. I've studied with Sally Thomas of the Julliard School, as well as Alejandro Mendoza, Anat Malkin-Almani, Ella Rutkovsky of the Manhattan School of Music, and Igor Frolov of the Moscow Conservatory.
