I have been playing the piano for 13 years, including 9 years of classical lessons and 4 years of playing improvisation and by ear. I have been playing piano covers of popular songs on YouTube for 3 years and have reached 1 million total views of my songs. I have been teaching piano lessons for 6 months in the same style that I was taught. I am able to teach beginner and intermediate levels in classical or contemporary style, as well as the ability to play songs by ear.

In regards to my experience with Japanese, I have been studying the language and culture for 7 years throughout high school and college. I studied from 15 different textbooks and went as far as upper division classes at UCSD. I am currently studying Chinese, among other Asian languages, which helps reaffirm my understanding of Japanese. I am able to tutor students of just about any level of experience.
