Hi! I am a friendly and patient tutor who is dedicated to my teaching and take pride in building a good teacher-student rapport with my students. I have native proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese, I lived in China for 20 years, and have been in Los Angeles for the last past 6 years. More importantly, I have been tutoring Mandarin Chinese part-time for a while. Therefore, I can teach you Chinese language and culture no matter what level you are at. I also have 10 years of guitar playing experience (electric guitar, steel string guitar or classical guitar). I received professional classical guitar training from California State University, Northridge and I have a B.A. degree in Music Industry Studies.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
