I graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University in 2008 with major in linguistics and simultaneous translation. After graduating from the university I co-founded a private language school "Lingvo-Office" in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I have a license of Russian State Exam Expert in English and have been working as a private tutor of English and Russian as a second language since 2004.
For the past five years I have been working as a teacher of English and Russian as a second language at the Institute of Foreign Languages in Saint-Petersburg. I work with groups of students with various levels of English and Russian (beginner-advanced), develop and teach special courses of Business English: HR and PR Management, organized training for international exams (TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, GRE, GMAT), supervised examination and testing department, and co-authored several Institute's textbooks and articles.
Before starting classes I study my client's requirements (purpose of studying, time criteria, level already achieved and level desired) and learning style (auditory, visual or kinesthetic learner) thoroughly and considering all that develop and present a detailed learning plan that fits each client individually. In my classes, I prefer to use communicative approach. I always try to make studying process fascinating by using audio and video materials, textbooks that touch upon most interesting up-to-date topics and innovative teaching techniques.
I am very result oriented, energetic and outgoing. I am passionate about what I do and I like to pass on this passion to my students.
