I absolutely love teaching and tutoring. I'm incredibly patient and excellent at breaking things down.

I currently teach in the arts. All forms of Dance and Voice/ Music. I was originally an opera major at the University of Northern Colorado, I also studied at the Shakespeare Sedona Institute, as well as received my BA in Musical Theater at the University of Northern Colorado. Since then I have been working as a professional dancer, singer and actress as well as teaching.

I love to teach and get great joy from watching my students succeed. I have taught in dance studios, private schools, and public elementary schools. I have experience with all ages. I have taught everything from mommy and me music classes, volunteered with a special needs center preschool program, as well as taught adults. I myself, graduated with honors Magna Cum Laude. I loved school and I enjoy passing that love of learning on to others. I have very high expectations and I believe I can help each of my students reach their desired goals. My method is to teach and encourage in a positive and uplifting way, yet offer structure and realistic constructive feedback.

Theatre

I have a degree in Musical Theater from the University of Northern Colorado. I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I have also studied at the Shakespeare Sedona Institute. For four years, I studied acting with a private coach in Manhattan, and I have worked professionally for eight years.

Voice (Music)

I studied Vocal Performance at Grand Canyon University for two years. I graduated with a BA from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Musical Theater. I studied singing, speech, dialects, movement, as well as Alexander technique. I currently sing professionally.

Ballroom Dancing

I am a professional ballroom dancer. I originally took Ballroom in college. I teach currently with an organization called Ballroom Madness. I have studied at the Tango Room. I have studied Swing since 1998 and have been teaching Swing since 2002. I have performed in Music Videos, Movies, and Theatrical performances as a ballroom dancer.

Yoga

I am a professional dancer and I have been practicing yoga for 10 years.

Public Speaking

I am a professional actress. I have a degree in Musical Theater from the University of Northern Colorado. I also studied at the Shakespeare Sedona Institute. Voice, diction, movement, and projection all come into play when public speaking. These are skills an actor must master. Since I have been acting professionally for ten years both on stage, and on camera, I feel uniquely qualified to tutor public speaking.

Ballet

I am a professional dancer. I have been dancing for thirty years. I have taught ballet at Penny Lane Dance Academy for ages 2-10. I also studied ballet and modern dance with Gehring Dance Theater, Broadway Dance, and Steps Dance Academy in New York City. I have also toured with Musical Theater companies and performed in Regional Theaters.
