I have been teaching writing to first year college students for the past few years. I have worked with students one-on-one and in small groups to improve both writing and analytical skills. I know that assignments can be boring sometimes, so I try to engage my students with relevant examples from popular culture or by finding something within a text that sticks out and speaks to them. Since I teach writing, I can provide more than just basic editing for students.
