Hello, my name is Jacob. I've been a math tutor for fifteen years and I love what I do. I've also been a college math professor for the last three years, and in that time I've taught every course from fundamentals of math (what is a fraction) through differential equations. Over the course of my career, I've learned a lot about how different students learn, and I've developed techniques for making mathematics relatable and accessible to all kinds of people. I've come to be able to place each topic and subject into a larger framework and try to show students a little of the big picture, while at the same time being specific about the best way to think about individual problems. And in fifteen years of tutoring, I've seen a wide variety of problems. I look forward to working with you.
