When working with students as a tutor, I tailor my lesson to the students' interests, abilities and needs by creating subject specific reading material, math problems, worksheets and activities to supplement the curriculum material assigned and assessed by the students' academic teacher.
I have taught and tutored both regular and special needs students as a classroom teacher and in after school program setting. My experience includes 17 years as a private school teacher and over 5 years of public school teaching. I bring patience, respectful for my students and a love of teaching.
