I'm a graduate of Boston University's College of Communication and have always had a love of teaching and learning. Regardless of the subject, the three things that have always helped me as a student and as a teacher have been patience, practice, and passion.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Film Production and have worked as an video editor. I use Avid Media Composer and have also had experience working with Final Cut Pro. I am able and more than willing to teach anyone who has an interest in film editing and/or the mechanics of film production in general.
I have had a passion for history for as long as I can remember. I took all of the AP history courses in high school that were available to me and at that time I was considering perusing it in college. I am quite knowledgeable in most areas of history and understand the cause and effect mindset that is essential for every history student to have.
Additionally, I have had experience working as an assistant teacher with elementary and middle-school aged kids, and I can tutor basically any subject in those levels. While in high school, I worked for 3 years with a program that paired high school students with elementary schoolers to improve reading skills, and have loved tutoring in reading since.
I have strong verbal and communication skills and have enjoyed the opportunities I've often gotten to help others with essay writing and proofreading.
I have studied Hebrew from elementary school through high school and I'm comfortable tutoring up through the intermediate level.
