Hello, I am Tiago, a typical Brazilian name as a matter of fact, which means I am a native Portuguese speaker and I just love my language, from the simplest grammar content to the most complex literary works.
I pursued my education in Brazil, attending the University of Londrina, a very accredited public school in my state, where I majored in Economics, knowing that numbers and Politics also attract me. I have taught Portuguese as a second language for two years during my college period, at an institution that was focused on multiculturalism, mainly dealing with English and Spanish speakers. I have also been an assistant to the native English teachers, once I knew the strategies to learn after a couple of years taking classes. In the USA I have offered private tutoring for several students, each one with your own perspective and goal, but everyone enjoys it in the end.
Portuguese is delicious, I must tell you, not because that's the language I grew up speaking, but because I have had experiences with people who went to Brazil and they just fell in love with the language and the culture. Comments vary from "The Brazilian joy and happiness makes us love the language" to "Carnival sounds too much better when we're able to comprehend the message".
