I am an experienced elementary school teacher and graphic designer. As a teacher and business owner, I feel I am well able to meet the needs of those I tutor. My classroom experience gives me the ability to work well with children and my business experience gives me the extra advantage of working with adults.

I have used adobe Photoshop and Illustrator in my business for over ten years. I am excited about teaching/helping anyone who may be interested in learning either of these programs, general computer skills or HTML.

I do my best to find ways to make what I teach understandable to anyone I tutor.

HTML

HTML is a script language. It is used to create websites which are viewed in web browsers such as IE, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. I have used HTML for over ten years to create personal and client websites or web pages.

Elementary (K-6th)

I hold a California teaching credential and have taught elementary school children for over ten years. I have experience working in a self-contained classroom as well as team teaching. I've tutored children who need extra help with their studies. I have experience working with children from K-6th grade.

General Computer

I have taught children and adults basic (general) computer skills. Skills or lessons taught focused on using the mouse, keyboard skills (typing skills), opening and closing programs, saving files, locating files, how to copy and paste files and text and saving work to a cd for Mac and PC. I enjoy helping those who have a desire to learn and become more acquainted with their computer.

Microsoft Windows

I have used Microsoft Windows for over ten years. I am familiar with the XP, Vista and Win7 platforms. If you are looking to learn Windows or brush up on your skills, I can help you. You will learn how to use the mouse and menu in your Windows environment, manipulate windows, use the task bar, use the calculator, notepad, and how to print in Windows.
