Having trouble with that statistics course? Stuck analyzing the data for your project or thesis? Or just struggling with general computer needs? I’m a patient, experienced tutor, and I can help.
I have a strong background, including degrees in mathematics (BA, summa cum laude) from the University of St. Thomas and biostatistics (MS) and regulatory science (MS) from the University of Southern California. Additionally, I have a graduate certificate in Clinical Trial Design and Management through the regulatory science department from USC and a graduate certificate in Six Sigma from Villanova University.
Currently, I'm director of statistics and analytics, senior statistician, and biostatistics practice expert at a market leading health economics consulting shop. And I'm adjunct faculty in the mathematics department at a local city college. Prior to my current position, I was a biostatistician at the Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute, a noted research center.
I have experience tutoring students in undergraduate mathematics, beginning and advanced statistics across a wide range of disciplines. Including the psychological, social, economics, business, and biological sciences. I will help you progress in your coursework and course projects. Most importantly, I can increase your comfort level in math and statistics.
My tutoring skills are enhanced by a working knowledge of both Macintosh, Unix/Linux, and Windows operating systems. I can help with you with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I have exceptional knowledge with the statistical analysis software programs, including SAS, Stata and SPSS.
I can also help you advance your study skills, which will better position you to manage future academic projects. I have specific training and teaching experience in study methodologies and techniques from the Learning and Writing Center at the University of Saint Thomas (Houston).
