I graduated from the University of Southern California with a major in the critical study of cinema from historical, international, theoretical, and aesthetic perspectives. Although my degree focused on writing about the arts, I have also read widely in current affairs, the social sciences, and philosophy and feel proficient tutoring in these subjects as well.
I have tutored students in middle school, high school, and college. I have been tutoring college students privately in writing papers since receiving my bachelor's degree in 2009. In my Fall 2009 semester, I worked through USC's Joint Education Project as a teaching assistant in 3rd grade and 6-8 grade classes in local public schools. In the summer of 2010, I taught a full class of incoming sixth-graders in English, math, history, geology, and grammar at the Prep Academy in Los Angeles. From 2010-13, I was a private teacher for an 8th-grader in all of his academic subjects.
